Et Iris Female Therapeutic Community

Et Iris Female Therapeutic Community

  • Et Iris, situated within the San Blas facility, is a unique and dedicated Females' Therapeutic Community that has been offering its services since 2008.  Our primary focus is on empowering women to embark on their journey towards recovery, guided by our trusted New Hope-approved rehabilitation framework. With compassion and dedication, the Et Iris Programme provides a supportive environment for females undergoing rehabilitation, helping them successfully reintegrate into society.  Typically, this program spans eight months or more to ensure comprehensive and lasting transformation.

Our residential programme is carefully structured into three distinct phases, each with its own set of goals and activities to guide residents towards a successful recovery.  In the first phase, lasting three months, residents ease into the community and lay the foundation for their recovery journey.  This phase includes essential activities such as Morning Meetings, Here and Now Meetings, Support Sessions, and Life Skills Groups, fostering a sense of belonging and support.

The second phase, spanning another three months, is dedicated to personal growth, social skills development, self-awareness, and spiritual exploration. Residents engage in activities like Social Skills Groups, Drama Therapy, Daily Journaling, and Therapeutic Groups, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and their journey towards recovery.

In the final phase, lasting two months, the focus shifts to equipping residents for a successful re-entry into society and employment.  This phase is designed to help residents become self-sufficient and confident in leading a life free from addiction.

    • Our Holistic Therapeutic Model adopted throughout the Et Iris Programme, emphasizes skill development and a renewed appreciation for life's simple pleasures.  We firmly believe in the transformative power of activities like craft sessions, mindful meditation, sports, cultural outings, and more, as they help residents regain their zest for life.

Upon successfully completing the Et Iris Programme, residents have the opportunity to transition into the Re-entry phase at Dar Charles Miceli.  This ongoing support and guidance emphasize that the journey to a life free from addiction is lifelong and requires continuous accompaniment.

We firmly believe that recovery is possible, and we are here to support you every step of the way.  If you or someone you know is seeking a path to recovery, we invite you to contact us for more information. Et Iris is more than just a rehabilitation programme; it's a journey towards a brighter future.
