The National Conference organised by CMEA entitled "Epilepsy - A
Multidisciplinary Approach" held on 9th February 2008 was once again
a great success with 200 participants taking part. During this
conference we had the pleasure of welcoming Prof. Martin Brodie and
Dr. Greg Rogers for the main presentations. Also present for this
conference were Malta's three main neurologists who treat people
with epilepsy in Malta namely Dr. Anthony Galea Debono, Dr. Josanne
Aquilina and Dr. Norbert Vella.
The main target groups for this event were general practitioners,
pharmacologists and other members in the health profession. Other
members of the general public were also present. (More information

Another in-service course for teaching staff is being held next
July on the 7th, 8th and 9th. Applications will be available at all
schools.
